Best pizza we’ve ever had. The jalapeño and sausage was incredible and made me sweat. When we left, we told them it was incredible. Days later we are asking ourselves how we can fit a 4 hr/8 round trip drive into our life more frequently, to eat here more again and again. The crust was crispy and soft, not hard and didn’t flop. The sauce was incredibly tasty, and had me saying so with every bite.

Crowded, disorganized and dirty place, unfriendly staff, $6 for a slice of one the worst pizzas I've ever tried. They rush you to make your order and urge you to pay immediately. You have no chance to ask anything about the pizza, leave alone asking about the ingredients. They take your credit card, you can't see what they do with it and then it was a third person who asked who's credit card is this or that one in that crowded place. Anyone who wants could take your card and run away. I was also yelled at by the cashier why didn't I tell her the order is a take out. I was already asked when I made the order, if it is to go or to stay. The cashier was very annoyed and shout I have to tell her too. I think she should have asked. Everything is rushed so much, they screw up half the orders and yell at the customers for their mistakes. I do not recommend this place and will never go there again!]

This is my boss's favorite place to eat pizza in NY but he is not a New Yorker. That said I ate here multiple times in my one week business stay there recently. I will say that it is not MY favorite pizza in New York. If you are a foodie, it won't be yours either. But it is good for being in Times Square. They DO use fresh ingredients for toppings. But if you don't eat it while it's hot, it gets weird and doesn't taste that great.

Was in New York to see my beautiful daughter perform at Carnegie Hall. Ray's was just up the street from The Hilton Midtown. I hadn't had a slice of real New York pizza in 40 years so I was so happy when we found Ray's. We ate there for either lunch or dinner every day. I even surprised the girls and brought them a large Pepperoni and extra cheese pizza to the hotel late one night after a long day of rehearsals. Very Tasty!!! I'm going back to New York on April with my husband to see my daughter and her school band perform at Carnegie Hall and I can't wait to take my husband there for a slice 😉 . He misses REAL New York pizza since he moved to Las Vegas in 1970
